Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Col 3v.2

My retired neighbor on the corner sits in a rolling office chair and hand-waters his exquisite, English-thatched roof-thick, green grass. Inch-by-inch. Hour-by-hour. You want to lie down in green pastures when you see it on the cul-de-sac's big corner lot. God told me that I don't have enough brain space to devote to cultivating "dream" grass. We have to choose. It might be nice to collect stamps or to learn decoupage. How much time do you have to devote to these pastimes? But I am already devoted, meaning I have been set aside for a holy purpose, and my No.#1 devotion takes time. The basics of that devotion - reading the Bible, praying, going to church, studying, speaking with other Christians- fill the parts of my days structured around care-giving and ministry responsibilities. And I do water the grass!

Father: I choose to put You first!

There was a Jew named Apollos... A cultured and eloquent man...but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took with them and expounded to him the way of God more definitely and accurately... Acts 18 v.23-28

An Egyptian Jew from a leading city of knowledge - Alexandria - had the humility to go be with and come under the teaching of lowly Italian tent-makers and of a woman! (Scholars tell us Priscilla's special pre-eminence in anointing/ministry was the reason the Bible always puts her name before her husband's.) In Christ we have a new family made up of different races, nationalities and cultures.  God has a plan to connect us. If we can overcome prejudice, parts of our destiny that were just out of our grasp might be unlocked by that Brother or Sister with the unpronounceable last name or the weird-sounding accent.

I also like the fact that after Apollos finished his time of tutelage under Priscilla and Aquila, he was so well-thought-of that the church wrote letters of recommendation for him for a missions trip. Clearly, his leaders had  had nothing bad to say about him after his season with them was over.

Father: Break the barriers holding us back from being knit together in love. You want to knit us a trampoline so Love will lift us higher!

Yes, I will help you, yes, I will hold you up. Isa 41v.10 Let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us. Heb. 12 v.1 (AMP)

This morning I saw you. You were in running shorts & top with a number. You had paused a moment in the race and teammates on the sideline were about to give you water. Your arms were still poised like a runner about to jump back into the race in a split-second.

What is coming to me to say to you about this week is: You're still in the race. Certainly, the enemy has tried to knock you out, trip you up or disqualify you. But you are still in the running. Take all the appointed rest stops on your appointed course. I am believing for more curbside assistance for you. Someone to throw you a water bottle, or yell out, "Run on, girl" at just the right moment.

Father: Every chemical change needed for the refreshing, be it unto them even this moment as they read these words. Quicken them by Your Spirit!

Blessings and love abounding to you this week,

Lee Andrews

When they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation. Acts 15 v.31

Console someone today. Consolation brings rejoicing as it did to a whole Book of Acts church suffering under the burden of false teaching. Just as vital as correction and just as important to growth as edification and exhortation, consolation is a remedy you can minister whether you are young, old, limited in income or education. Give consolation from the part of you that will live forever- your spirit. Sometimes just hearing the voice of certain Christian friends consoles me. I remember anesthesia nurses patting my arm as I drifted off before a surgery. Or even a sympathetic nod as the neighbor vents will release consoling comfort to a fevered brow. Give the best of yourself away- the return is measureless!

Blessings on your beautifully unforgettable weekend,

(Lee's Prophetic Impression: Sensing you may want to commemorate and lay memorial stones to mark great deliverance and victories and passages- Joshua 4v.5 We will see more and more of this type of leading this year and in 2012. It could be literal  (with a plaque or marker) or it could be a written commemoration in your journal.)

I do love you,

And when she came to the man of God, she caught him by the feet...2 Kings 4v.27

The son of the Shunammite woman fell ill and died. The same son whose birth was prophesied by the prophet Elisha. Several alternative, "generic brand" modes of healing for her son were presented to her (Mrs. Shunammite, just tell the receptionist or just leave a voicemail, call the help-line...), but this woman stuck to her original vision. I am going to get to the man of God and my son will be restored to life. How many times do we compromise and back off from the full, undiluted, heaven-born vision?  We don't want to act up or to be seen not acting right. (which is a form of pride and the prideful or haughty get nothing!) This righteous woman was not afraid of being accused of acting badly. The Bible says the man of God's servant, Gehazi, wanted to thrust her away from her double-nielson hold on Elisha's feet. Call security!

Father: Set your people free that we would act righteously in full obedience!

...Reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) Romans 5v.17b (AMP)

Here in Houston a long-awaited rain is soaking parched ground, What about in your life? Are you standing gazing into heaven hoping for God's intervention or even hoping for a way of escape from life's pressures?  (Acts 1 v. 10) Or are you standing firm and ruling in life today?

If you are ruling, you are connected to heaven in prayer. But you are also connected to earth as the dominator. Your head is not buried in the sand about the state of things - physically, financially, emotionally - in your life. Prov.37v.23 exhorts us to "know well the condition of your flocks and pay attention to your herds or your checkbook or stocks." If you are reigning, you have spoken decrees from the word of God about your life. (meaning you're allowing this; but you ain't allowing that.) The Word is working for you as you rule and reign over whatever life brings. And it will bring God's best, if you put the Word first as you legislate, execute and judge as head of Kingdom Susie or Kingdom Jennifer.

Heavenly Father: Thy kingdom come - as it is in heaven, so it is on earth!

Love you,

My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret...Thine eyes did see my substance...Ps. 139v.15-16

God has searched us and known us- and wonder of wonders, He loves us more than the ones who only know our good and shiny parts!

God's commitment to your destiny began before the foundations of the world when you were on His mind. In this season of bars to cross, impediments to remove and mountains to melt, Today's Word is a good reminder that Our Maker is Our Finisher. He began a good work in you and He will be faithful to complete it. Are you sensing the frustration of the hour as the enemy seeks to block completion of some great and wonderful things in the lives of believers? Completion is part of your substance when God first thought about you. Even before He made one cell of your being, He formed your complete purpose and His complete Plan for it to come to pass. Full, complete, nothing broken, nothing lacking, nothing missing.

Love you so,

Lee Andrews

I will go before thee and make the crooked places straight. Isa. 45v.4

Home from church Sunday, mom out of her Sunday-best, re-dressed, fed, cared for, meds crushed and given, kitchen cleaned, took out Sunday sermon notes to study and pray. But I thought let me make a quick by-phone bank transfer for my tithe check and then discovered someone had used my card fraudulently out-of-state! Two hours of phone calls later to un-do that, it was time to get Mom up and I still had not prayed. Now, you know good and well I had prayed passionately about my credit card, but the day's twist had stolen my Sunday afternoon prayer appointment from me.

Father God:  I speak to the rough places and to the cowlicks of life and I tell them to get in line with Your Plan. The Plan of God unfolds for each of you this week like a Blood-of -Jesus red carpet. God will do His part and you use your authority to do yours.

Blessings on your week,

And ii came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went back to Jezreel. And the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. 1Kings 18 v.46

I have always pictured this verse with Elijah running with his head down, arms swinging, feet pumping, not looking to the right or left  - as Ahab's 18-horse Cadillac chariot ate the dust from Elijah's flying feet! My imagination painted the Man of God as very serious-looking marathon runner. But this morning I saw Elijah dancing. Throwing back his head to laugh and swim in all of Victory's Rain! Show-boating in front of that chariot? No, he wouldn't do anything like that, would he?

Father: Re-introduce me to Victory's Dance. Quicken me so I can high-step it in praise even at the end of the war.

Blessings on your weekend. Dance before Him!

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation? Heb.1v.14

The cabinet company's Field Expert crawled under the sink to see the shabby installation I had complained about the week before. "You have an angel in here!", he said. He then went on to not only offer to re-do the cabinet floor, but he also offered extra perks, upgrades and asked if there was anything else his company could do in the house to make me happy! As he left he shared that the week before he and his wife had been water baptized. That was the week I had fumed, fussed and phoned all over because I had to wait a whole week for a supervisor to come out. I had put a little angel down there after praying and closed the cabinet doors. But look what the Lord has done! He has made me glad!

The harvest is ripening. The world is unravelling and the devil is losing his hold on the souls of people. Our answer, our vindication, our gold and our victory are in the "newly freed" mouths and "newly freed" hands and pocket-books of the fish. (The gold is in the fish's mouth!) Get bolder in your witness. People are so ready. The Master and we ourselves have need of them.

Loving you more,

Lee Andrews

Enter His gates with thanksgiving...Ps.100v.4; It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord... Ps. 92v.1

Enter your future through the Thankful Gate. Step over into greater faith for your future through Thanksgiving's Gates. Thank Him now. Thank Him before you get the deal.  Just thank Him wildly. Once you start, you'll still have even more to thank Him for when you finish! His worthiness of our thanks is sort of ENDLESS. I would keep Dodie Osteen's punctual and perfect thank-you notes in my purse until the envelopes frayed and the paper wore and tore. As some of you know, she'll write you a thank you note for anything little thing you give her. There is a bridge in gratitude that connects giver, recipient and the Lord. "Thank you"  travels even to the heart of God. Expressing heartfelt thanks can take you somewhere. Get going. Enter your future through the Thankful Gate!

Love you,

Lee Andrews

I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there forever; and mine eyes, and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 1Kings 9v.3

"This house" is your body, your family, your home, your business. The Lord is saying that He has hallowed, consecrated and set it apart for His special purpose. That means it is holy ground. He is reminding us this morning that His name is on us. His "Christ" name is in our name "Christian." This He did deliberately, on purpose, willingly and lovingly. My house is called by His name, so it has special protection and a special assignment. Because His eye is on us, we know He cares. (As the famous song says...). He that keepeth (your house) Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. I am so so glad His heart is set on my house. Just His thinking about me brings a creative perfecting to my body or my house. Many are His thoughts toward us and toward our house!

Blessings on your week!

...we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken (Heb. 12 v.28) A whisperer separateth chief friends. Prov. 16 v.28b

There are kingdoms that can be shaken by whispers. Something as small and soft as a whisper can undermine even time-tested relationships. Our chief friendships are designed to help build the Kingdom of God, providing fellowship and encouragement needed for Christian growth and the development of our faith. Perhaps this word today is a Word of Wisdom to protect what is chief in your life. Sometimes the whispers can even come from our own mouths. Oh my! Getting weary can make us say what the devil is saying: Who does she think she is? Why did he do that? The devil is always looking for agreement in dissing God and the godly.

Father: Bless our friendships to build Your Kingdom!

I pray special blessings on this weekend for you and I ask for many love exchanges and love declarations to come to you for the building up and not the tearing down!  Come and hear me teach on strength tomorrow, Saturday June 11, 2011 @ HBU's Mabee.

He has made us both one body... and has broken down the hostile dividing wall between us. Eph.2v.12 We are more than conquerors. Rom. 8v.37

"New alliances" was the word I heard for you today. Who are the "we" in the verse above - We are more than conquerors- ? I am sensing new and unexpected help joining forces with you. They that be with you are greater than they who are against you. Greater in strength and in influence. You cannot conqueror some areas alone. One way God uses to increase our strength is through our alliances with others. Whether through marriage, friendship, church membership or even secular associations, power is multiplied as others unite with us for a common cause. The power of covenant is at the heart of any alliance.

Father: Make me a great ally. I stretch my hand towards that one I am to join forces with for new victory, new expansion and change!

Lee Andrews

And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one and half to the other... 1 Kings 3v.25

In this famous Bible story, Love stops the sword from devouring a child. It is reminiscent of the moment when Abraham raised his knife to slay Issac and the Angel of God said, "Do not stretch your hand out against the lad!" - Gen 22.)  The real mother spoke up, "Give her the living child and in no wise slay it," and the imposter was revealed. While the wisdom of King Solomon makes us marvel, his ability to recognize love is the remarkable virtue I am led to write about today.

Was King Solomon's upbringing so full of love that he could see it even if it was veiled or cloaked? His parents had an adulterous affair that led to murder and to the death of his infant half-brother. Sounds like the National Enquirer or the painful lives in some of the rough places of our cities today. But Solomon's father was a great, great worshipper who knew God. I think growing up with a demonstration of worship gifted Solomon with a knowledge God's Presence and of His love. Worship opens our eyes to Love. And of course, worship demonstrates Love.

Father; I want to know You. I worship you now.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to stop it. Acts 5 v..38 (TLB); But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it. Acts 5v.38 (KJV) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world...! 1John 5v.4

Been waiting long? Whether God promised you yesterday or whether your promise dates from a decade ago, it is good to remind yourself that His dream for you and His Word to you have power to come to pass. Nothing can separate you from the full manifestation except doubt or unbelief.  Just as the Gospel has its own power to save and deliver (and it cannot be stopped when the Truth is preached), so God's Truth about your situation has a forward-moving, delivering power that won't be fruitlessly turned back. No matter what it seems like to you today.

I was asked to do a whisper-translation at Lakewood on a Fourth of July Sunday. A young teenaged Italian girl and her younger brother were visiting relatives in Houston and came to church late. The girl twirled her hair and looked at her finger-nails while Pastor Osteen preached. We were way up in an isolated part of the balcony so my whispered translation would not disturb anyone. I am ashamed to say this, but I actually thought it was a waste of time. Those kids weren't even listening. I even thought Pastor had the wrong text for them. All about how his Fort Worth friend, Ben, pulled his hat off in the alley behind their houses and asked to be saved! Pastor Osteen gave the altar call and before I finished interpreting the words, the teenaged Italian girl shot to her feet and into the saving arms of Jesus for all eternity. Unstoppable!

Hold tight!

In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. Ps. 138 v.2

God wants you strong. There is nothing wrong with crying for help. Our verse today says He answers "pronto" when we lift up our voice to our Father God. Cry out, "HELP!", but your next words should be," I am strong."  Let the weak say it, Joel tells us.

God wants you strong in your mind, will and emotions. Those are the three parts of your soul. So you will know what to do, have the guts to do it and have the focus to shake off the criticism (or lack of praise) after you get the job done. Part of the agenda of the enemy of your soul is to use the "I'm-so-tired" syndrome to steal strength from the Mighty Ones in the earth (aka YOU). The world is tired and it is falling to pieces, but your help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. You are mighty!

Strength is your portion this week!

And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2v.52

Have faith for more favor than before. The increase of this present season is also bringing an increase in your favor. The Bible says if a man's ways please the Lord, He will cause even his enemies to be at peace with him. So favor will save us from some battles. Notice that our aim is not to manipulate man to get favor by our flesh working on their flesh. Our God-pleasing, righteous ways will trigger all the favor we need to go forward.

The anointing triggers favor as God's Words, Ways & Fragrance pour out from us and onto those around us. 2 Samuel 19 v.11-15 describes how David's words "bowed the heart" of all the people listening to him and they did what he asked. Favor is meant to make the daily lives of God's covenant people go well. They want to give you a discount. They want to give you an earlier appointment. They want to re-make your salad order. The world is crumbling. These days people working don't always want to do a good job. Yet the force of favor is still working for us and overruling the defects of this age. And remember that Favor is a Gateway for the Gospel. Once you win favor, take the opportunity to tell them about Jesus.

A blessed and highly-favored and highly fruitful weekend to you!

love you,

What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared ( made and keeps ready) for those who love Him... I Cor.2v.9(AMP)

Back in my first years in Italy, I would delay coming to the table when my hosts called for me. Where I grew up, that was not a big deal. My plate of steak, mashed potatoes and green peas would get put on the stove. But in Italy when the pasta is ready, you had better get yourself seated at the table on-time. Or face a firing-squad. Pasta cannot be kept ready. God has some things for me that He is keeping ready. No matter the current weather conditions in my life or the current limited ability of my heart to believe.  The special things He is holding on ready for me won't rot, won't wilt, won't congeal. Like diamonds, they are getting better and better as the Lord waits for me to get to the table He has prepared for me.

Father:Bring us into all that You have prepared- step by step and day by day! We love you!

Love you guys,

Lee Andrews

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Ps.121v. 1-2

The month of May was about steps ( new, first, big) and now the month of June is about standing on the new level- maintaining and consolidating the land you have taken. The same faith you had for the breakthrough is now needed to keep what you have gained. That is vital for expansion.

We are here at the halfway mark of the year 2011 and you should be stronger than before. We are all still working on some areas, but there should be visible improvements we can measure in inches, if not in miles just yet. Keep believing. Stay on the Believing Train. It won't take you around the bend; it is a ski lift to take you to the top of God's Ephesians 3:20 Mountain.

Your best June ever!

with love,

Lee Andrews

from past baggage
old sin
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17

Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for  FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is  fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn (NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden) and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city (NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10
Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
