Bring the whole tithe in the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. Then I will rebuke the devourer...Mal.3 v.10-11

Recently I discovered I had forgotten to tithe! The income was intermittent and always included with another payment. God knew my heart. So within days of discovering my mistake, some other money came in that more than covered the back tithe that I owed Him. I didn't flinch when I wrote the check, I rejoiced and went "whew." This is a season of preparation for the New. We are reviewing, examining ourselves, our fiscal status and our physical status as we get ready to run and rumble as the Kingdom of God advances.

Keep good records (to avoid mistakes like mine) and keep short accounts with the Lord. Be quick to repent, quick to forgive and ready for promotion.

Blessings on Houston's rainy and safe weekend!

...when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but become vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Rom. 1v.21

Fantasizing is a refuge for the mind any time pressure is on and especially in this present season of change and intense decision-making.  Years ago God told me my fantasies were treasonous!  I was shocked! Treason is defined as " aiding the enemy in times of war." It was hard to train myself to stop indulging in fantasies as a comfort food for my weary psyche. I had to replace those thoughts with scriptures and continually confess my diligent, obedient mind of Christ was a servant of my spirit - and not the other way around! Today I am prompted to exhort you not aid the enemy in this time of war. Great victory is at hand for those in the Body of Christ who will not give up now! And yes, you can be a creative thinker, you can dream the Bible and you can rehearse Destiny without allowing vain imaginations to beset you.

Father: I think on these things- whatsoever is true, whatsoever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence or anything worthy of praise, I let my mind dwell on these things. Phil. 4v.8

I love you,

Faith cometh by hearing...Romans 10 v.17 New things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isa. 42v.9

Can you feel "new' in the air? Don't just let it happen around you; make it happen for you by benefiting from the anointing available for needed change in your life. The anointing is a manifestation of the power of God. Where is the power?, we have asked. Here it is. Get to the gym. Get to your church's prayer meeting you have been meaning to join. Get off the phone. (Let some people go!) Or get on the phone. (Embrace some new folk God has sent to you!)  Only you know what God has been asking, reminding and now, urging you to do or to stop doing.

Father: I will. Heal my will to shift, change and obey today!

Loving you more,

Do not be conformed to this world;but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Rom. 12v.1

The dictionary defines distraction as: To turn away the attention; to divert, confuse, bewilder; entertainment, mental distress. The devil  can use entertainment or confusion to distract us, so it is extra important that we - as Ephesians tell us- be not ignorant of his devices or strategies against our sound mind in Christ.

1. Distractions come at timely, key junctures.

2. Distractions often precede an attack. A fake to the left, then "powie" up pops something from the right, blind side. When a series of nuisances arise, you arise!

3. Distractions are deceptive. They look time-consuming. They are exasperating But they are mole hills disguised as insurmountable mountains. Often just using our authority to cover the distraction will take care of the issue.

Father: I call all those reading this VIGILANT, watchmen on the wall. They see the nonsense of a wolf in sheep's clothing coming to turn their attention away and steal focus. Behold, You have given them authority over all demons to squelch demonic activity!

Many blessings and love,

Holy, holy holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory! Isa.6 v.3

Have you taken the problem into the Throne Room for prayer? Then it is bathed and changed by "Holy Holy Holy." God wants to speak to us about The Power of Holiness this Monday and He always speaks about the Power of Prayer. You may not have your answer yet; the victory may still be awaited, but "Holy Holy Holy" has already set the detonators for the implosion of the devil's work. "Holy Holy Holy" is a perpetual cry angelic beings make to each other in the Presence of God Almighty. But Jesus has given us special access, by a new and living way Hebrews says, to God and to His Throne Room. Do you have the confidence about coming to that place today?

Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the Blood of Jesus, by a new and living way... Heb. 10v.19

Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. Heb. 4v.18

Blessings on a week of Holy Holy Holy for you!

Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds. Prov. 27v.23 (AMP)

This is a phenomenal season you're in, teetering just on the verge of great harvest. You are standing and doing all you know to do for your prayers to manifest. Our scripture today reminds us that as Destiny inches closer, we need to diligently take stock of our present responsibilities. The Prov. 31 woman expanded prudently and did not court neglect of present duties by assuming others. She saved her time and strength for the best  and most-timely God-assignments.

I'm dreaming, planning and fashioning great things in my heart of faith. But I still walk around the back yard, hammering loose nails in the fence, sweeping grass cuttings the yard people let clump under the AC. Our present duties are not just of a physical nature. We all have relationships with people that need our diligent care for their special nurturing. Though some of these people may actually be on the fringes of our lives (an usher at church, your sales lady at the store), we won't get promoted without completing that God-assignment as well.

Take stock this weekend. Examine yourself. There is a tremendous God-powered August ahead of us all. You wouldn't want lingering, clinging regrets to slow you down.

Blessings on your weekend!

I will bless those who bless you. Gen. 12 v.3

God has already put it in the heart of someone to bless you today! I desire to join my faith with yours that today there will be divine provision, divine ease and angelic assistance for the one who wants to bless you . Recently a wonderful lady gave me a fabulous pair of prescription glasses worth over $1,000. Though I saw her regularly month-after month, I never knew God had put it in her heart to give me a new pair of glasses, never knew she worked for an optometrist and never thought she could afford to give me such a lavish gift.

Father: Send help to the one You have inspired to do something good for me. Give them the time, the forethought and the follow-through to make my blessing happen today! (And why not pray for yourself this way? If you don't, who will?)

Be blessed!

A joyful heart makes a cheerful face...Prov. 15v.13;A cheerful heart has a continual feast Prov. 15v.15b

Sometimes when I wheel my elderly mother in front of our floor-length mirror, she points to her reflection and says, "That's not me." But if I make her laugh and tell her how beautiful she is, she'll tap my arm and point to the reflection, saying "Look who's here."  The "me" I love!

Smile as you bless yourself today!

And you shall make it according to all that I show you, the pattern of the tabernacle or dwelling and the pattern of all the furniture of it. Ex.25 v9;  Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch...the houses...chambers... and the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit...I Chron. 28v.12

A "pattern" is a "consistent arrangement or design." God has a pattern for our lives. Your life is not in the hands of whoever happens to get on the freeway behind you or who happens to re-locate to Houston and become your sweet or sour boss. In other words, God has a Plan. AKA: The Plan of God.

Just as David received a blueprint from the Holy Spirit that manifested into flourishes, marble carvings, gold overlays for the awsome Temple Solomon completed, The Plan of God for your life has treasure planned for you to possess and set out in display of His Glory. Your life, according to His Plan, will show forth the glory of Him ( who has brought you out of darkness and into His marvelous light!)

Get the pattern by the Spirit. Get the relationship that will allow the pattern to be unfolded before you.

Father: We believe. Help us to seek Your pattern and to live it out day-by-day-by-day-by-day to Your Glory and for our great good!

And when Jesus saw that he had answered intelligently, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." Mark 12v.43 (NAS)

My prayer for you is that you will not be far from the Kingdom in your answers this week. The Greek word for discretely  in the King James version of today's verse means intelligently, prudently, "mind-having" - as my grandmother would have said- "like somebody with some sense."   I Cor.1 v.26 makes it clear that being humanly smart can be pitifully far from the Kingdom.

"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men (God wants to help you outwit the devil this week!) and the weakness of God is stronger than men." I Cor.1v.25

Having the discrete answer I also pray that you will have the timing of the Spirit. You can appear wise just by being quiet, Proverbs tells us. Questions are often used by the devil to trip us and by God to test us. You pass! You soar!

Love you guys,

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty ( whose power no foe can withstand) Ps.91v.1 (AMP)

No foe can withstand God's power to protect, prosper and promote you. Not even you  - in a wave of self-pity or self-destruction - can prevail against His power to bless and keep you. Sometimes I repeat this truth over and over: Whose power no foe can withstand! It changes the way I see certain battles and issues facing me. My mom is 91, and God spoke to me pray it over her daily. Many of us have had teaching on memorizing  Ps.91 and daily confessing it.

Blessings on your weekend- angels watching over you!

And David, the king came and sat before the Lord and said....I Chron. 17v.16

God spoke some awesome promises in prophecy to King David in chapter 17 of First Chronicles. God rehearsed the history of David's life and revealed His Plan to keep someone in David's family line on the throne forever. Wouldn't you love to have that kind of relationship with the Lord? Let us look at how David responded to the Creator God pulling the back the curtains on Purpose and allowing his servant to hear these secrets.

1. Who am I? v.16 - HUMILITY. He didn't stick his thumbs under his royal suspenders , grin and say, "Of course I am wonderful."

2. What can I say to you, Lord? You know me.v.18 TRANSPARENCY. We can't fool God with our words. He looks on the heart. 1 Samuel 16v.7 (Which is what God explained to Samuel when David was chosen over his taller, stronger, better-looking brothers to be king.)

3.O, Lord, there is none like thee. v.20 PRAISE. David not only praises God for what He is promising to do, but he also takes the opportunity to praise God for what He has done.

4. Let it be established v.23

Let it even be established v.24a

Let the house be established v.24b CLEAR UNDERSTANDING. David repeats God's words back to God. Have I got it right, Lord? Now, Father, You are going to do precisely this, right? Seal the deal with God.  Make sure you have heard correctly. You will have confidence and assurance that the Lord has spoken and that you have what He has promised!

Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for God. Isa. 40v.3; Because you did not carry it, the Lord our God made an outburst against us (NAS) for we sought him not after due order. (KJV) 1Chron. 15v.13

"In due order" simply means done right, done God's way. David is speaking of his sad attempt to do a good thing his way and not God's way.  A man died in the earlier attempt to return the ark of God without the correct people (the Levites) participating. Have you ever tried a shortcut that cut out God's preferred/perfect way? I have! I have wrongly anticipated the timing of a good thing or just flat-out messed up! Prayer helps us prepare and prayer also should give us poise to wait for the right timing and the right way.

Father: We want it Your way today and everyday. Prepare us to move in due order!

Love you guys,

I see you positioned in the right place at the right time!

For the needy will not always be forgotten; nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever. Ps. 9v.18; He who (avenges bloodshed) remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted. Ps. 9 v.12

You can be needy without needing food, clothes or shelter. That is the kind of need that I am hearing about today. I am perking up my best Mickey Mouse ears to pick up what the Lord wants to say to you. Many are pressing in faith and in deep, intense need. One of the three men working and overseeing work in my home this morning has a deep need for a wife. I laid my hands on the picture he showed me of the house he has built and prayed for him. "But no," he said today. "It will take a long time. I don't even expect it anymore."  His need has turned as hard and dark as the so-called liquid blood of the dead saints the Italian Catholic church keeps under glass for tourists to gawk at. The man standing before me could not believe God has his need for a wife on His mind. For God the need is fresh, vibrant-red and ever-flowing before Him.

Father: I believe You have not forgotten me. If Today's Word is speaking to you, I feel the following verse is what the Lord also wants to give you: 2 Kings 20v.5: Return and say to Hezekiah, the leader of My people, Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David," I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold I will heal you."

With love,

Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. And when he (Paul) had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it, he began to eat. Acts 27 v.34-35; Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Ps. 23 v.5

Whether you are in a storm today, like Paul on the ship, or nestled away in a quiet vacation spot, thanking God will spread a table before you. The best of His bounty is received by faith because His food is not only for our bodies, but also for our spirits and our future. Yes, you can just bless the food and eat it and get your physical hunger satisfied. But why not be like the disciples on the Emmaus road? Get your eyes opened to more of God if you take the today's blessed bread BELIEVING as you receive it.

Blessings on your week of bounty!

Love you,

He will make an utter end; affliction shall not rise up the second time. Nahum 1v.9 KJV

What is in your way? What is the obstacle? What is hindering breakthrough? God will do more than shove it aside to get you through. When it comes to some of our emotional weaknesses and issues, we don't want to meet it again farther along our pathway. The children of Israel failed to utterly destroy certain enemy tribes and as a result had to live with Trouble forever. They had the Trouble people do their dirty work of cleaning and serving, but the Israelites could have obeyed and lived in greater peace. "Utterly destroyed" also applies to other sin and to sickness and disease. We live with less and put up with the enemy for lack of faith. Can my bad habit be utterly destroyed?  Or this injustice at work - Lord, could it be utterly destroyed? We wear ourselves out managing trouble/ The Troublers and we are tricked into not using our authority to banish those baddies! The uttermost is where you are headed. It means greatest, to the greatest limit, to the greatest limit, to the greatest point in time and space.

Join me tomorrow as we study the pathway to an unhindered, no impediments Divine Flow. "Utter End to Uttermost" From 10 to 12 noon at HBU's Mabee Theater 7502 Fondren, 77074, Sat July 9, 2011

To behold the beauty of the Lord...Ps.27v.4

In Today's Psalm David writes "Though war arise against me... one thing I will behold the beauty of the Lord."  It is OK to think about beauty. We should apply the Beauty of the Lord to ourselves the same way we apply the Blood: liberally and lavishly. The Beauty of the Lord has power to beautify our inward (The King's daughter is all glorious within- Ps.45) and our outward parts. The atmosphere in our homes can also be changed by our pursuit of His Beauty.

This beauty product is available to every worshipper, every seeker of God. Like the merchant of fine pearls who sold all he had when he found the Pearl of Great Price (Matt. 13 v.45), our hungry worship puts us in a bargaining position to buy the Beauty of His Presence with our active love. You can have all the Beauty you want. You can have all you need to become irresistible to a world desperate for Jesus.

Love, love, love,

...Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. Ps.140v.7; But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter of my head. Ps. 3v.3

Verse 5 of Psalm 3 drew me to this Word for today. It speaks of sleeping sustained by the Lord. He is a Shield for our minds both while we sleep and while we are awake. There is much to think about. The best part of my mind that could or should be reserved for creative thinking with the Universe's greatest Thinker is busy, busy, busy. The strongest and potentially life-changing part of my brain is the devil's target. But the our Word Today promises a perfect shield is provided by the Lord Himself. Lee, I will shield your head from the frustrations, rabbit trails and dead-ends of chasing after the devil's bait.

Why is this so important? Because there are some things being prepared, readied, aligned, shifted and labeled for delivery to your address. It will take some time. It will take some "going to bed and waking up" with a mind Shielded by God as Mark 4v.27 tells us. The Kingdom is coming from the seed you have planted. You will put the sickle in when the harvest of what you have believed fully comes! Keep your head covered with that "Do-Rag," girl! God will do what He promised!

Love you guys!

Pray ye one for another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5v.16

Yesterday I sat in the dentist's chair on an emergency visit and was told I needed a root canal immediately. They numbed me up and left me there. No hope just a filling would do. I pleaded my case. I pleaded guilty about not caring for my teeth. I pleaded the Blood. Then I remembered praying for a sister- in- Christ just a week before for the very same thing. She even used the same dentist. Probably sat in the same chair looking over the freeway, up to the same sky. Mercy!

Lo and behold after the dentist had drilled and scraped, there was no bleeding and enough protection for the nerve to cancel out the need for a root canal. My Mercy Storehouse was full to overflowing because of the Cross and because of my prayers for another.

So I am praying for you today and this holiday weekend. Straight paths for your feet and restoration of the places for you to dwell in is what July is about. Don't get distracted by low-level demonic activity. Get up to mountaintop and strive to maintain a conscious awareness of the Presence of the Lord with you!

Happy Fourth! God bless America!

from past baggage
old sin
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17
FATHER:  Show me Your new way today! I PRESS TOWARD THE PRIZE!

Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for  FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is  fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn (NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden) and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city (NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10
Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
