O lord, Our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! Ps. 8v.1; Prize what is excellent and of real value. Phil 1.v.10 (AMP). We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Cor. 4v.7;

"Excellence" is the word I am hearing for you today. It means "to be superior, surpassing, greatness, goodness, distinction."  Is that you? I believe the Lord wants to emphasize secret excellence in your daily choices, habits and disciplines that no other human eyes can see. When I took over a small office at the US Embassy in London, the main desk drawer was exquisitely arranged like wall-art: pencils just so; tape nestled in geometrically. After six weeks of my being there, the boss happened to open what was now "my' drawer, and I remember his face as the tumble-jumble of scattered cluttered jumped out to meet him! I was embarrassed.

Ephesians speaks of "the surpassing greatness of His power towards us who believe." There is something in the "surpassing" character of excellence that makes God pass over a million other people to respond to your faith. Even in the natural laws of  life, any kind of excellence has a connection to power, but the secret excellence you practice has an even stronger connection to power.

Father: Show me the more excellent way! (1 Cor. 12.v.31b) I excel in faith, in love and in power!

Love to you,

Lee Andrews

And those that have insight shall shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Dan. 12v.3

The Understudy is coming to center stage is something I have said about the coming month of September. Today I am led to encourage you that what you call "destiny" - those places of promotion and dominion that are meant to be yours - are called God's Harvest as you shine with the light of His glory on you. Your fullness and the ripening of the best virtues in your life are the harvest that Farmer Father God is watching for and expecting.

That should take some of the pressure off as you prepare and make yourself ready. I have missed and messed up more than one golden opportunity, but God has redeemed some of my worst failures. Often my second (or third chance) was better than the first. I don't know how He did that, but I am so glad He did. If your spirit agrees with Today's Word, but you don't sense precisely how to respond in faith, fasting can be a start. Or more time spent praying.

The stepping forward of the candidates for the US presidency is a prophetic picture of the same season that is nudging you out of the nest. God is calling His people out. Leadership is a holy calling and leading is part of the purpose of being gifted. You're on! Shine so the world can see Jesus!

Blessings on your week- prepare!

We were pressed out of measure, above strength... 2Cor.1 v.8b(KJV)

We were really crushed and overwhelmed, and feared we would never live through it. (TLB)

But then we put everything into the hands of God, who alone could save us, for he can even raise the dead. v.9

Paul was describing shipwrecks or beatings, but I have felt the "O" word  in the grocery store wrangling over the computer's mistakes in the checkout lane or 'duking it out" on my mom's behalf at the Dr's or on the phone with the HMO. The Bible definition of the "O" word overwhelm is turn over/about, overturn, pervert, overthrow, tumble.)  The intensity and acceleration of the Last Days is making daily living a challenging sea to navigate. One more thing to do, just one, then another, then it adds up to too much! Boom! The "O" word! The righteous are also triggering surprising demonic manifestations in the most unlikely people as we go about our errands and assignments. The devil's harvest is ripening in the lives of the lost. Part of their cry for help is to act like the devil around us! The Satan's double-whammy aims to overwhelm us and his poor, unsaved victims. But you are an overcomer- the head and not the tail- you are going over and not under. Banish the "O" word. You "O" word the devil like the praying widow in Luke 18!

Blessings on your beautiful weekend,

Lee Andrews

For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but thy right hand, and thine own arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. Ps. 44 v.3 (KJV)

How did you get the job, the blessings, the health & the home you have today? Take a look out over the land of your life with the eyes of faith and expectation:

Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward, and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land which you see I will give it to you...Arise, walk about the land through its length and breadth, for I will give it to you. Gen.13v.15-17

The Promised Land of your dreams is probably bigger than the place where you stand today. Yet the Bible of our wonderful Jesus is telling us that the same way we obtained the blessings we have is the way we will get the Ponderosa. Through faith in God. His sword, His arm and His favor- according to Ps.44.  And once we get it, this is the way we will maintain it and transform it into God's garden. Goshen was not a supernatural place of protection and prosperity until the Children of Israel got there, There are places and people waiting for you to get there with the manifested, life-changing blessing of God! When the Future sees you coming, it smiles!

Look From The Place Where You Are is our study topic for the September 10, 2011 Bible study at HBU's Mabee Theater, from 10 to 12 noon. Be prepared as you wait in the wings. September will see the understudy come to center stage.

Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits, Ps. 68v.19 (KJV); Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits. Ps. 103 v.1-2 (NAS)

This day will benefit you. Today will be beneficial for you! Agree with the Word of God no matter how you feel (or felt when you woke up today) and no matter what you are facing in the natural. He will open your eyes and mine to see the benefit, to move towards it and at the end of the day, to enjoy it! This day is taking you towards the Eph.3v.20 promise that exceeding abundantly is coming. Far greater than all you can imagine or think or ask. It doesn't always happen at once, but little by little, step by step, line upon line.

I bought a great deal on a suit and then discovered that the cleaners in my new neighborhood are a lot more expensive than my old neighborhood. It cost me more to clean the suit than it did to buy it. So I buried it. I left it in the van, planning to get by a cheaper cleaners. Well, summer's almost gone and I haven't worn my benefit. I could have benefited more from my pretty outfit and also benefited from an increase in faith for the cost maintaining my wardrobe. Do better than I did- benefit from today!

Love and blessings,

Lee Andrews

Temptations (snares, traps set to entice to sin) are sure to come, but woe to him by or though whom they come...Pay attention and always be on your guard (looking out for one another)...Luke 17 v.1-3

Yield not to temptation!  And your stand ( refusing to allow the devil to entice you to say that rude, smart-alecky remark or not getting back at the person who wouldn't let you in the turning lane) will influence those around you. The Amplified Bible says the lowly in rank or or lowly in influence can be ensnared by my silly, self-gratifying sin. Oops! And I want to change the world! When I yield to temptation, I give the devil the victory - not only over me, but potentially over the weak ones around me. Repenting, changing, renouncing and uprooting can undo that damage, but there is power available to resist the devil's enticements to be a little bad or truly bad! Change the world today!

I love you & you're sin-less!

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Ps.37 v.23

How many steps will you take this week? One of those machines buckled to your waist would tell us the incredible number by Friday. This week I pray for NO missteps in Jesus' name. He is giving His angels especial charge over you this week (Ps.91) to keep you from making a bad step. The Amplified Bible says that the Lord busies Himself with your every step. The good and righteous person has that assurance. The Lord delights Himself in your way - in the way you do things and in the way you choose to go on the path of life. There is even a safety net underneath you:

Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. Ps. 37v.24

Blessings on your week of advancement,

The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5v.16; will I go into the king...if I perish, I perish. Esther 4v.16

Yesterday at a Houston intercessory group I attended, two issues were paramount:

1.Pray to Break the Drought

2.Pray for the gifts and calling in all God's people to come forth!

We need the fountains of the great deep to burst open ( Gen. 7v.11). To break earth's drought. Plus it will break the drought within us that keeps us barren of miracle-working power and barren of earth-shattering creativity to win the lost and to create fortunes. Other areas- Arkansas and Oklahoma - have broken their drought in prayer and heaven has rained on them. This is not a meteorological issue. Forget the heat domes. Let us continue to pray in faith believing. This weekend make time to go into the king (hey, you are His Esther, His highly-favored one!) to break the drought in the land and to release the power gifts of the Spirit for your great destiny and for us all!

Blessings on your weekend,

 I love you,

Lee Andrews

We who are strong in our convictions and of robust faith ought to bear the failings and the frailties and the tender scruples of the weak: we ought to help carry the doubts and qualms of others and not to please ourselves. Rom. 15v.1

The failings of the weak in faith in our families, on our jobs or at church can exasperate the strong in faith, instead of inspiring compassion. I can remember wanting to lay un-holy hands on a relative who kept losing all the Bibles and books I was bossily giving to try to help him. Or I felt victimized by the non-stop calls from a new believer who complained about her being a victim whenever she missed the mark. Sadly, a bad attitude (like mine) can keep the strong in faith from being strengthened to carry the weak link. The doubts and qualms of new believers (or weaker long-standing Christians) should make us strong ones stronger as they draw out mercy and all our Christ-like virtues from us.

Father, I cast the care on You as I care for the weaker ones around me today! I'm letting Love flow!

You are strong!

Fret not thyself...Trust in the Lord. Ps.37

Fretting is the world's way of praying to the god of themselves: "what am I going to do?"  but you and I are trusting. As the US presidential race heats up, the media's influence on the minds of the people intensifies. It is a fret-feeding frenzy to devour peace of mind and to get you addicted to watching more news!  Guard your mind and your heart and stand guard for righteousness. The Lord revealed something to me about the coming race one morning in the spring of this year as I sat down to pray. The vision He gave me was a gentle invitation to participate in prayer with what He was about to do in our nation and in the world. My first reaction was to check out God's possible choice on the internet. WRONG! I was like Ananias when asked to go pray for Paul in Acts Chapter 9 : Lord, do You know what the world is saying about this person? (Acts 9v.13)

When you pray to hear what God wants, when you wait to hear His opinion first, all the world's fretting cannot weigh you down or sway you. Fret not, trust!

And one excellent way to be fret-less is to pray for the candidate God has led you to choose. As the fight to influence the minds of the people heats up, we can only imagine the intensity of the assault on the minds of the candidates from now until next summer's nominating conventions. So your prayers are vitally needed.

Love you,

Lee Andrews

Let no foul or polluting nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of your mouth...Eph.4v.29

Ever? James says" if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body." One of the first straight-up steps to keep you from stumbling in your speech is found by simple keeping quiet. Proverbs says that you will even appear wise, just by holding your tongue. Today I am sensing the importance of how you minister grace to me by NOT saying anything. When you withhold the worthless word from coming out of your lips, you are making room for the right, anointed, precious word to pop up from you and to bless me.  Worthless does not mean dirty or mean, it just serves no purpose. Worthless and vain things can be deceptive. And so often this happens without any conscious desire or evil motivation on our part.

Father: I build people (edify) and I minister Your favor (grace) to them today!

Love you so,

Lee Andrews

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. I Cor. 9v.24-25

For all those who face a "Do or Die" deadline today or during this week, let us agree in prayer. Father, I say they do the impossible and they do not die.  Thank you, Jesus, that, You have already died for us to do impossible things. What is impossible with man, is possible for You. I call their projects done - with excellence - and finished. Put such a finish and a polish- both on the work and on the worker - that they both will shine like new trophies when it is all said and done. Every resource, fresh zeal, fresh energy and timeliness is their abundant portion today and this week in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit!

Blessings on your week- be fruitful and multiply!

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest...shall not cease. Gen 8v.22 (NAS); "All right," Jesus said. "I am the farmer who sows the choice seed. The field is the world and the seed represents the people of the Kingdom; the enemy who sowed the thistles among the wheat is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are angels. Matt. 13v.37 (TLB)

We can have harvest anytime we obediently fulfill God's law of sowing and reaping. He set it in place for our benefit, to increase us and to fulfill His Kingdom Purpose. From the words of Jesus in our scripture from Matthew we can see that every harvest we have is a rehearsal for the Final Harvest. Rehearsals give you time to make corrections, to perfect and to toss aside the ineffectual. Tomorrow I will be teaching on Harvest and I believe it is not too late to change the quality and nature of your 2011 Harvest. Some may need to repent and prayer to weed out bad seed sown this year. (I certainly have cried out to God for myself,"Don't let that weakness sprout up. Or the seeds of fear I sowed.") Others may need to hurry up and re-plant in faith. The anointing will furnish what is needed for your best harvest.

Father: I thank you that everything not planted by YOU in my life will be uprooted and removed.

Hope to see you tomorrow,(HBU's Mabee Theater, 7502 Fondren, 77074 10am to 12noon)

So, come out from among (unbelievers) and separate (sever) yourselves from among them, says the Lord...IICor.6v.7 (AMP)

Amazingly, one of the meanings of the word "harvest" is to sever, to separate out. You become God's own harvest when you choose to cut yourself off from the herd and pull closer to Him. You don't have to hide out in the Himalayas. The secret place of His Presence is available to you on the job or in your car.  A promised benefit from that separation is your entrance into God's hiding place where He will keep you from the pride or plots of men according to Psalm 31. Just by choosing to focus your heart on the Lord, you bless Him with the harvest of you!

Submit therefore to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4v.7

Power to resist the devil is closely connected to submission to God. Our reading today is clearly showing that to us. Submitting yourself to those in authority over you - your boss, your husband, your pastor, your parents, - provides a covering that brings power and protection. Some of the struggles to reach destiny or to fully express yourself are directly linked to living undercoverWhen will I be discovered? Don't they see that I could do this or that job ( at work or church)? Why did they ask her?  Having a covering connects you to your full future through the power of covenant.

I have a patch of grass that sits beyond the covering of the roof. The grass beside it sits contentedly under the roof's shade and is vibrant and plush. Maybe the yellow grass has secret longings to be plush. Its dreams are hidden undercover and will remain that way forever. But you can move yourself under God's covering today!

Father: Today I move towards You through submission to those in authority over me.

I love you,

I entreated Thy favor with all my heart, Ps. 119v.58; But the wisdom that is from above is easy to be entreated...James 3.v17 (KJV);So we fasted and sought our God for this and he was intreated of us. Ezra 8v.23 (KJV)

Entreat! Ask God just as you would you ask a parent when you know you are the favorite! (I know your parents don't have favorites!) Even now in this season when the world is struggling, entreat God like an Esther would! The Wisdom of God is easily entreated, so surely that is part of His very nature and character. Don't let fear of rejection keep you from asking. Don't let your past experience of seeming denial or delay keep you outside the Throne Room door and away from His lap! Let God be true and every man a liar! Ask in confidence. This is the confidence that we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, we know He hears us and we know we have.

Your Daddy God upholds the universe with the Word of His power AND listens to hear you coming close!

He loves you so much! Fear not!

(Ezra) was a ready scribe... Ezra 7v.6; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer...Ps.45

"Ready" means diligent, hasty, quick and skillful. I call this your "ready" week. The  word "prepare" is most anointed word I know and "diligent" is the second-most anointed. It hurts too much to put it first! These words are keys to unlocking treasure in your life as you take advantage of every God-given window of opportunity. This Saturday I am teaching on harvest, and if you are not ready, prepared and diligent, you will not reap. God is weeding us and wooing us at the same time. Your harvest gives you a living and it gives you something to offer to the Living God. My offering is another tangible way I connect to God. If I dawdle, procrastinate or allow fear to put the brakes on my blessing, I can decrease the potential size of my offering. Are you ready for more?

Father: Give these ready, skillful and diligent daughters MORE!

Love you and see you this Saturday,

Lee Andrews

To give unto them beauty for ashes...Isa. 61v.3; Your youth is renewed like the eagle...Ps.103v.5

The times I feel really beautiful is when I have been in the Presence of the Lord. Then it really doesn't matter what I have on or how well my make-up is done, there is just a radiance that doesn't come out of a bottle. But The Lord wants me to remind you that He is restoring real, physical beauty. The wear and tear from the drought, from our earthly travels, and from our sin, detract and distort. He loves to repair as much as He loves to create.

Lift up your hands now (or at least open your palms up if you are with people):

Father, Restore my beauty! Overshadow me (Like Mary in Luke 1v.35) with beauty made new! I believe I receive today.

The beauty of the Lord is on you!

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace...1Cor. 14.v33

This week's phone calls for prayer have had a common thread of a spirit of confusion. Often twisted in strange & new tangles, the thread of confusion is part of satan's "shock and awe" strategy. As I listen to the prayer requests, my jaw drops as the predicament is described. They did what?  Thank God for the hammer that breaks the nonsense into pieces and straightens out the way. The Word of God is the way to peace and it is a hammer to all this confusing nonsense. Not taking ourselves too seriously also helps us laugh at the devil's shock and awe antics. Come on, now! This where we help each other.  You can help me laugh when I want to cry when I first hear this or that bad report.

Father: I thank You for undoing the work of the evil one. I thank You for overcoming confusion with perfect peace. You sit in the heavens and laugh as You see my VICTORY even before the battle's dust settles.

The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over. Ps.12 v.6

August is the gateway to your 2011 harvest season and my heart is to help you get in your entire crop of prayers, giving, and faith-seed sown. The enemy knows this month is his best chance to attack your increase before you get it into the barn. Don't sleep in this harvest season (Prov.10v.5) and be alert, vigilant and watchful.

What can take the heat we've had in Texas? The Word of God can. It has been tried in an oven seven times hotter than anything on earth. The Word kept the earthly furnace fire from burning up Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego in the Book of Daniel! What grows in this triple-digit weather? Faith grows in the heat. (Let our faith-filled cries for rain for our parched world arise!)

Join me Saturday August 13th at HBU's Mabee's Theater 7502 Fondren, Houston Tx,  77074 from 10am to 12 noon as I teach on Your 2011 Harvest- Sabotaged or All-Secure? 2012 is so pivotal for you and your 2011 harvest is the platform your faith-projects will stand on. I want to see nothing stolen, broken, lacking or missing from the seed you have sown this year.

Blessings on your week - enter in the gate with praise!

from past baggage
old sin
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17
FATHER:  Show me Your new way today! I PRESS TOWARD THE PRIZE!

Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for  FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is  fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn (NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden) and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city (NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10
Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
