But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord, men shall call you the Ministers of our God...Isa.61v.6
Do you think of yourself as a priest? you? Are you devoted to the service of God? Do you know your authority in Him? The first verses of Isaiah 61 tell us that His Spirit and His Blood have qualified you. So what does it take to do it and live it out? Your willing obedience! When you put aside your favorite things - even for just a minute -and you choose to serve and minister to God and to people, you are fulfilling your priestly duties. And finding the great joy of what you were born for!
I am a priest of the Most High God. I am anointed and appointed and approved. I intervene and I make the difference between life and death for the people I serve at home, at work and in the world around me.
Blessings on your priestly weekend. Someone is waiting for you to bring mercy and help in their time of need.
I will direct their work in truth. Isa. 61 v.8 (KJV)
Facing a big project at work? Is the office needing you to learn a new computer system? Or are you finally starting to write that long-overdue book? God will direct the work and "cut it out" for you according to your abilities, talents and strengths if you put Him in charge through patient prayer. Prov. 8 says; When He marked out the foundations of the earth; Then I was beside Him, as a master workman. So God's wisdom knows how to work and how to master the work.
Father: Anoint us with mastery of the work we have before us. You're the author and the finisher of every project we undertake. Give us the "know-how" and the " want-to" for our work at hand.
So then let us pursue the things which make for peace...Rom. 14v.19
Peace may not just fall on you. Peace might not run and jump into your lap. You might have to chase it. You might have to go the extra mile. Whether you drive by someone's house with a gift or an apology to make peace with a sister or you journey to a church service miles out of the way to meet a missing, particular unction: pursue peace with God and man. Shopping, gardening or other fun activities can also be God-ordained ways to pursue peace. All the paths His Spirit leads you on are PEACE.
There is also a pursuit of peace that is not a running to, but rather a running from and a separation. There are some people whose presence I have to avoid if I want peace. You can minister to people who have unpeaceful spirits and who talk constantly, but don't choose them for companionship. Hang out with the Holy Ghost instead!
The peace of God that passes all understanding be yours today- and strength to pursue it!
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God. 1 John 3v.21
A few days after I had suffered a loss, I saw the actual extent of the damage. Oh, the pain! But after more prayer & tears of repentance and grief, I had to go the supermarket. Life goes on! I turned away from the freezer section and a middle-aged (Am I middle-aged, too?) woman with a cart walked towards me. God spoke clearly to me about her and I felt the Holy Spirit come on me. My condemnation over my part in my own loss vanished from sight. Confidence arose for me. It did take me two turns to approach her, but God used that to move her away from her companion and she was all mine on Aisle 8!
When I saw you the Lord spoke to my heart that He wanted to encourage you. He said you have carried many people and their burdens, but now He wants to carry you." Tears welled in her eyes and she put one hand to her chest. Her response : "My husband just died. I have been the rock for everyone. He was a big, strong man and we moved here from California six months ago. And he died. And I can't be the rock anymore."
Dear Ones- Let not your heart be troubled. When we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse us. The Blood is enough! Forgive yourself and keep running to the battleline to bring God into the lives of all!
Thou dost visit the earth and cause it to overflow; Thou dost greatly enrich it...Ps. 65 v.9
You are the earth God is visiting! I am praying that for you today. That God would visit and enrich you. Visit means " to come to see for friendship, pleasure, business, inspection or examination." Enrich means " to increase the wealth; to improve the quality of; to adorn." Everything changes for the better when He comes. In His Presence is fullness - Ps.16. says - of joy. The inspection and examination are not part of the picture of failure. They are necessary for the improvement and enrichment. God knows what is wrong with us, but are we opening ourselves to His close inspections? And more importantly, are we changing those areas that can be improved and need adorning? He is showing me weaknesses that could prove fatal unless I change. I want the earth of my life, the soil, to be enriched and I want more of HIm.
Father: Come, Lord Jesus!
Blessings on your week of visitation and enrichment- make room for more of God!
The children are come to birth and there is no strength to deliver. Isa. 37v.3
Many of you are in great pain as pressure from the misfit areas in our lives is increasing. The misfit could involve an unsaved love one or a desperate need for a job or healing or the selling of a house. Everyone of your one-million prayers have attracted one-million arrows from the enemy. I am writing today to say this misfit sickness is not unto death. It will not be to the advantage of the devil. The pain we all experiencing is giving birth to the future. As we squeeze through the narrow place of CHANGE, it doesn't feel right or good. The misfit doesn't fit anymore. Too big for the past and it is too small for the future. We can't let out the waistline of Compromise one more inch. Are you cornered? The devil thought he had cornered Jesus at the Cross, but the Resurrection opened a window to Eternity for all and forever. Die to the pain of the pressure by trusting God to raise you. Everybody I know is in a war right now, but I am hearing of exquisite God-encounters on the battlefield of Life that the enemy cannot touch. Your baby is coming - with the olive leaf of peace of Jehovah Shalom in one hand and the victor's crown in the other.
He who abides in me and I in him, bears much fruit. John 15 v.5 And the remnant...shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward. Isa. 37v.31
Children,do you have any fruit? Are you staying in one church long enough to bear fruit- fruit that remains? It takes time to really take root. And during that early growing season there are often more reasons to want to leave than to stay! I saw some fruit from enduring-in-place last night. It was an "Aha" Slap-me-upside- the-head moment when I realized I could have missed it by moving on when the going got tough. Find your place. Get planted. Take root and be fruitful.
Father: Establish our ways in Your Truth and strengthen us to take root and not get blown away by every unsettling wind.
Local Rotary Club leaders met with an American study group I was part of in Avignon, France one summer. "Ravished" was the heart-stopping greeting my handsome table host gave me as I was introduced to him. Of course that was French jive-talk for "Charmed, I'm sure." But God is so serious as He is saying it to us today. You have ravished my heart was what I heard the Lord say to us today.
Is this any time for such lavish love? Why, we have so much worry about, to intercede and fast about! Come to Your senses, God! He knows us and He loves us more and more. He sees me making the same mistake again and I wake up to hear, "Ravished!"
Father, With just one look from Your eyes of Love, You see us and we capture Your Heart. We say it back to You: "RAVISHED!"
For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again but water the earth...so shall My word be...it shall accomplish...and prosper...Isa. 55v.11
Texas had some good news from our far home country of heaven (Prov. 25v.25 AMP) - rain at last! It felt as good as the "cold of snow brought from the mountains in the time of harvest." So refreshing. God rained on the field of your life, as well as your grass. Receive the clearer thinking, the washing away of some of the travel stains of life's journey. Let the Lord pull back the curtains on what He is doing in and through you. I know through the phone calls about illnesses and legal issues that many of you are in intense battles. I am praying for you and my heart is in agreement for healing and for favor today.
Thank you, Jesus, for this abundant rain. Thank you for answering our prayers and for blessing our parched world with Your Life-giving Blood shed on Calvary. You do all things well, My Perfect God, My King of All the Earth. I praise you today for unlocking victory and healing for everyone reading this. So shall Your Word be - accomplish Your purpose in our lives today!
Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the earth with fruit. Isa 27v.6
September 17th, tomorrow, is the wedding anniversary of the late Pastor John Osteen and his ever-vibrant bride, Dodie. Thinking about the fruitfulness of that marriage as I did my daily Bible reading inspired me to bless your marriage. It doesn't matter where your marriage began, what you and your husband have been through or even whether you have children. The world was meant to benefit from your union. There is meant to be fruit from your joint heavenly account to bless the world.
If you are believing to marry, believe big and strong. Keep believing. I agree for restoration for those needing renewal in their marriages.
I do not frustrate the grace of God. Gal. 2v.21; I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God,and it didn't work. Gal.2 (the Message Bible)
Frustrating the grace of God (His unmerited favor towards you) is frustrating. The Book of Hebrews says that falling short of His grace allows roots of bitterness to grow inside us. I had a word recently in a service about something simple and deep God was doing inside our bodies as the congregation sang a little worship chorus. Why is it so hard to believe in God's lavish, stylish love?
Don't refuse to accept criticism; get all the help you can. Prov, 23v.12 (TLB); Apply your mind to instruction and correction and your ears to words of knowledge. Prov. 23v.12 (KJV)
Apply your mind to instruction. Read your Bible whether your mind wants to or know. You have to make your mind sometimes. Make it up and make it obey. Applying your mind also means going to mid-week service as well as Sunday. Find a good Bible study. But none of these replace the daily discipline of you applying your mind to God's instructions for our lives. Memorizing scripture can help. Having a set time or place in the house where you sit and read can be useful. Use your drive-time on the way to work to listen to the Bible read on Cd's. Being teachable is a virtue that makes us like Jesus, The Greatest Teacher. Get all the help you can!
And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God. Deut. 28v.2
After 50 minutes in the therapy pool with my Mom, then the steam room to help her breathing, then getting her dried and dressed, I cringed at pushing myself to get on the treadmill and lift weights. But we had driven so far and there was someone to sit and feed Mom in the gym's cafe while I worked out. How could I just quit and drive home now? A friend even rubbed my sore shoulder poolside for a few minutes to energize me to keep moving. Finally, I made it and actually got on the treadmill. In less than 1 minute, a gym staff member comes up to me: Do you want a free, 45-minute massage? One of our lady interns needs someone to practice on?"
All of you will pray for me more when I confess that I at first said, "No." I am such a good soldier (or maybe not too smart all the time). I thought I had better get in my aerobic workout. Then the light went on: This is my blessing chasing me! By that time the staff person had left the room. So I chased after him. Down to the Front Desk, up the stairs to the Massage School and I found him and the lady intern, Sara, who did a great job.
The blessings of the Lord chase you today and overtake you!
Rejoice with those who rejoice...Rom. 12v.15; Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; Sing the glory of His name, Make His praise glorious, say to God,"How awesome are Thy works!" Ps.66v.1
I just had a 45-minute early morning phone call from a fellow minister and friend giving me reports of jaw-dropping VICTORIES, A-team A-mazingly A-wesome sudden, Holy Ghost POWER DISPLAYS, jig-dancing ANSWERS TO PRAYER and heart-melting LOVE DEMONSTRATIONS! Who was it? It could have been you. And it will be in the days to come. This is the hour for it.
Rejoicing with those who rejoice is a good rehearsal for our future. We are sowing with every squeal of delight over someone else eating the cherry-on-top and the good of the land. To God be the glory! Their "YES" will become ours, too!
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for...Heb. 11v.1
How do you make the thing you hope for YOURS? How does your dream manifest, come into being, come into your bank account or come into that Dr's report about your body? Faith is the substance (the food on the table, the bills paid and filed away, the new job started) of everything we are hoping for. If substance is lacking, then faith is absent. These days we know all too well that if is fear is present, faith is weak. Weak faith means weak substance. How can I have confidence if the substance of what I say I am believing God for is flimsy, fading, like a hologram in the sci-fi movies. Now I see it; now I don't. You can't put your hands on something if it has no substance!
My prayer for you this weekend is that you make the time to meditate on "Now faith is the substance" and believe again.
Those who believe, HAVE IT. That's you!
Love, & hope to see you tomorrow at HBU for Look From The Place Where You Are!
September 9, 2011
PS- Let us pray God will anoint His pastors to preach to and about America on this Sunday's 10th anniversary of 9-11. For a day of harvest and of power in our churches. I believe God entrusted the Church with a gift by putting the 10th anniversary on a Sunday. In Texas we command rain to come and devastation to stop in Jesus' name!
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it parted and became into four heads...Gen.2v.8
We are looking north, south, east and west as God told Abraham to get him ready for change in his life. There is a word for having every direction of your life covered with a faith-Promise and great expectation; that word is DOMINION. If we look at the picture of the garden of Eden, we can see dominion was part of the original Plan of God for your life and mine. Eden, which means lush, had one river that fed four rivers outside the garden in four different directions. Our Creator's Plan for us was, and still is, to make every way we turn fruitful and obedient to His will. When I look at the garden of my life today, is there an area that needs the gold-connection of the river Pison, the breaking forth of the river Euphrates, the gushing fountain of the river Gihon, or the encircling blessing of the river Tigris?
Those same four directions are envisioned by Ezekiel in the form of four living creatures- a man, an ox, a lion and an eagle. They each gaze to the north, the south, the east and the west. One Bible commentary said intelligence, dignity, strength and speed are 4 virtues symbolized by looking into those 4 directions. I pray that for you today as you look from the place where you are- intelligence, dignity, strength and speed every way you turn!
Join me this Saturday (and pray for me as I search it out to share with you) as we look from the place where we are!
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Ps. 119 v.1 (KJV); My dove, my undefiled is but one... she is the choice one. Song of Sol. 6v.9
A fellow minister asked my opinion on something in the media, but I had not been able to read much of it because I felt defiled by it. "Defile" comes from a French word meaning to foul, to trample, to make impure or to desecrate. Ministers are like physicians - hearing & seeing the worst parts of human problems - that Jesus came to undo. But each of us has a personal limit (that the media tries to override) we should respect and safeguard. If I were called to minister deliverance, I could use my authority to undo every chain and set the captive free.Do I need to read and know the details about whatever horror story is surfacing? Be wise as a serpent to protect your dove-like innocence.
Arise, my love, my fair one and come away... Song of Sol. 2v.13
He is drawing you after Him and enticing you to change as He changes. The Ancient of Days is not a fuddy-duddy! Can we say, " Draw me after You and we will run together." Some place new and unexpected where my character shift is required. Where my demands of others dissolve as I focus, focus, focus on You, Jesus!
Can we come away from how we thought it would be? Part of God's leading in this hour is, dare I say it, a little odd? Therein lies the mystery of Our Wonderful Father. His name is like ointment poured forth- shifting, streaming, variegated, fresh and news to me! I am sensing that we need to be prepared to change to secure the victory we long for and that we deserve. Which means I could miss it, if I let fear and paralysis hold me. Just when I thought I had it down- I know how to do this - He says, "Change to win."
Father: I pray all who read this and believe it will enjoy Your New, Smooth MOVES!
Blessings on your week- short and sweet!
Join me this Saturday, Sept 10th as I teach on "Look From The Place Where You Are" - God's words to Abraham to get him to change and win. He was preparing the Father of Multitudes for his future. When you look all around your life- north, south, east and west- what do you see? Come, we'll have a great time studying this out in the Word of God!
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. Ps. 19v.8; And when my heart is right, then you will rejoice... Ps.51 v.19
God's "rightness" makes me rejoice. My rightness makes God rejoice. When things are right in your home, there is a happy strength. Have you ever walked in your house and felt something was not right? Maybe there was a funny smell. (Which is sometimes a sign of demons) or you had a dream about something odd present in the house.) The Bible says the sound of joyful shouting and rejoicing is in the dwelling the righteous. Playing worship music brings a cleansing to your dwelling or just the unbeatable combo of prayer, Clorox and scrubbing to get the troubler out.
Father: Freshen the atmosphere of the hearts and the homes of all those reading this! Make it right, O God! All right!
Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Rom. 4v.2
The devil's job is to try to make the time between believing for something and receiving it count for nothing! Our prayers get dry and crumbly. Circumstances worsen. But our Bible says our believing time counts for everything. The Message Bible says it this way: " Abraham entered into what God was doing for him, and that was the turning-point. He trusted God to set him right instead of trying to be right on his own." The same faith you exercised to believe God for salvation will bring you into receiving every one of His promises.
Believing counts because it changes you and me, first of all. Through our trust and faith, we enter into what God is doing for us, as the Message Bible puts it. Literally, we enter into possession of what we are asking for. Those who believe, have. True believing is receiving- even before you close on the house, or you get the full Dr's report back! Believe today and enter into what God is doing for you in response to your faith in Him. Let this be your turning-point!
Love you today,

LEE'S WORD FOR TODAY 1/6/17
SEPARATE FROM PAST BAGGAGE, DIVORCE OLD SIN, MARRY NEW FUTURE IN CHRIST!
Lee's Word for Today 1/6/17
from past baggage
NEW FUTURE IN CHRIST!
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17
FATHER: Show me Your new way today! I PRESS TOWARD THE PRIZE!
Love you guys more than you know,
Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn(NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden)and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city(NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10 Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
