But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not;believe only. Luke 8v.49-50
When Jesus heard what? Jesus, did You hear what they said about my job, my health, my husband or my son's lawsuit? In our verse today well-known ruler Jairus heard them say that his daughter was dead. Jesus was with him - just like He is with you today - and He hears the threats. But He tells us to believe only.
Two days ago I had a major prophet with a national ministry phone me and minister to me. The day after he prophesied financial increase, they called and said my paycheck was being delayed. But Jesus heard the voicemail, too, and said "Fear not; only believe." This morning it was all straightened out! Half an hour after the prophet had prayed for my back and I felt the pain and stiffness go, my knee twisted and I was hobbling on the left side instead of the right! Can I get the prophet back on the phone? But Jesus heard the crunch in my knee and said, "Fear not; only believe." The searing pain is gone and we're headed to the pool.
Then Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted and the Lord favored him with blessings. Gen. 26v.12 (AMP)
Sow into the Word of Promise that has not borne the fruit you expected by now! Has 2012 been a disappointment so far? Sow again! What should you sow? Every seed of hope, every seed of faith that God will strengthen you to reinvest in His dreams for you this year. Believe afresh. Believe strong! Faith will cause you to take action - like Isaac- and do something that may not be typical. I am sure those around Isaac wondered at his sanity for planting in a time a famine. When he received a 100-fold harvest that same year and not 1-3 years later, they were in total wonder again!
Father: I believe again!
I love all you mighty faith-people,
I have never seen a Jan-Feb-Mar this intense. If the fight has been so hard, the reward is greater than you have ever known. Some of the reward is finding yourself prepared and strengthened for the greater wars that come with the greater works.
But let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Amos 5v.24
Today's verse has always moved me. I want to cry when I read it. God's heart makes my heart more noble. But this short Book of Amos also presents how justice can roll and righteousness can flow in my own life, not just in my nation or my community. Amos Chapter 7 v.6 speaks of a plumb line, a tool for measuring how straight a wall is. This morning I wanted to cry when I read that, too. But not my dramatic, holy tears. This is the cry of "Please, God don't measure me where I am failing." I have weak areas that are still not measuring up and that still need straightening up. Are you plumb? Plumb tired? No! Are you straight enough to be measured and found up to the measure? (I didn't say perfect.)
Father: Measure me and bring me up to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ!
But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Co. 2v.16; ...in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge Chap. 2v.3
This season of change is putting new demands on our brains. Many of you are having to learn new procedures, master new computer systems or process new forms and methods quickly and perfectly. Your jobs depend on it. The divine order we have cried out for is bringing promotions and shifts. New things to learn! Can your brain handle it? Our verse today is telling us the truth. Make your tongue agree with this truth. YOU HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. Wisdom ( divine insight into the Plan and Purpose of God) and knowledge (the know-how) are yours through Christ Jesus. Your brain was built to master life. You can do this!
Is your "moaning" so anointed you don't even call it complaining? Recently I have talked a lot about things that aren't right and need fixing - in me and around my world. My discovery of the moaning syndrome only surfaced when symptoms began appearing in my body that I knew I had fought off for good. Complaining - which is sin - opens a door for the devil. Even if the devil has caused most of the mess I am complaining about. Don't I have a right to complain? No, I don't. I have a right to govern and bring God's order by putting His Living Word to work on the situation.
Father: We cut off the moaning and embrace the engrafted Word of Power! We speak Jesus!
When you see the ark...set out...and follow it. Come not near it, that you may be able to see the ark and know the way you must go, for you have not passed this way before. Joshua 3v.4 (AMP); ...you'll see clearly the route to take. You've never been on this road before. (The Message)
After I sent a few minutes every hour between midnight and 5 pondering how to do a new thing God is working for my mother and me, I had the sudden revelation that I was losing sleep to fruitless worrying. Ta-Da! Only after my prayer time later did I hear, "Just take one step." Like the Israelites in our verse today, I don't know the way. I have never been on this road before.
Are you walking on your changing road and wondering? God is moving to answer prayer and opening passageways that seem tight, narrow and dark. Narrow is the road that leads to life. Few are they that find it! You and I are some of those few today. (Matt. 7v.13-14)
As the Lord commanded Moses His servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did; he left nothing undone of all the Lord commanded Moses. Joshua 11v.15 (AMP)
Just reading our verse today makes my flesh swoon: how can you leave nothing undone? My Goodness, I have so much to do! But our spirits know there is a place of completion where the command of God is satisfied. It is worth fighting for! It is indeed possible to keep believing that you will leave nothing undone without beating yourself up over the size of your daily progress. You're getting there and you're not giving up!
Father: I believe I will leave nothing undone of all You have commanded me to do!
The merciful, kind and generous man benefits himself (for his deeds return to bless him)...Prov.11v.17 (AMP)
Psalm 62 tells us that mercy belongs to the Lord. Mercy is so much a part of who our God is! As life gets tough, we can find ourselves toughening up along with it. But a tender heart and a pliable, merciful heart are to remain part of us - no matter what the world is becoming as it falls apart.
My own need of mercy is one softening agent for my heart. God is always more willing than I am to turn me around - in my opinions about certain people - just as dirt in a garden gets turned this time of year.
Father: Mercy belongs to me today!
Blessings on your week- Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy!
Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock before their eyes; that it may yield its water... And Moses said to them, "Listen now you rebels; shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?" Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice.Num.20v.8
"And water came forth abundantly" is the verse that follows our reading. That water coming out like that meant that God honored Moses in front of the people, in spite of his failure to follow God's instructions. Even though Moses failed to honor God in front of the people, our amazing God honored him. Moses was so mad at the people that he struck the rock twice. Ever been there? I know I have and thinking of my sin makes me sad. Moses was a great leader, but we have an even Greater One in Jesus -who can utterly remove and wash away our darkest sins.
There are consequences to sin - Aaron died not longer after this and Moses was told he would not enter the Promised Land. Reading this tough lesson should increase our fear of God and our longing to obey even under great pressure.
Father: I pray for all those facing great pressure this weekend. They will speak to the Rock and not strike it! The Fear of God is great in them! They don't do what their flesh wants to do- they do what You want and they win!
Sweet Waters come forth abundantly over your life this weekend!
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be...Luke 1v.29
"The Christmas Story" in the month of March? Are you wondering (like Mary) what manner of salutation is this? Mary was initially just as perplexed by her New Beginning as many of us are about the changes we are facing. Unsettling shifts that give our natural minds a loop! The amount of faith required for life seems to be increasing - at least over here where I live - . Go through the Open Door! Believe the angel! Take the path of the New Beginning before you and follow the guidance of His Spirit all the way to the Promise.
Father: Be it unto me according to Thy word ( not according to my fear!)
I read somewhere about "every problem being a place of exchanging strength" and I thought of you today. Is that true for you? I know it is not always that way for me, but I want it to be so! Then every battle is just a matter of reaching for that baton from God when all my strength seems to be gone.
You are not alone in this race!
Father: I exchange what I have and take all that You have for me today!
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all nations. Isa. 61v.11
Facing something (or someone!) that needs to be shaped and changed? Put the power of God's word to work: let confession SPRING UP out of you! When I look out at my grass in the morning, I thank the Father aloud for the green, lush grass and I speak to it. In the same breath I throw in my hair confession - it is the out-raying of God's glory (Hebs. 1) - and it, too, is growing like the grass.
When your consistent confession becomes automatic - like direct deposit - it is not hard and it will always bring the increase and the needed change. And as the Word springs up out of your heart and to your lips, it will also bless and change you! Even as you tell the dishwasher to line up with the Word of God that says it will live and not die!
Blessings on your week FILLED with the Word of His Power!
Send men to explore and scout out the land of Canaan...Num.13v.1 (AMP)
Who should you send to scout out the land of your future? Let your faith go check out the land promised you! There are so many wonderful things God has personally promised I know. In this time of pressure and shiftings, it is going to take the eyes of faith to look at the future and give it a big ole' Prov. 31 woman SMILE.
Some of the scouts the sent to check out the future gave this report:
The future looks totally fab with milk and honey, but it is full of giants and we be not able. How would we pay the taxes?
Every seed you sow in speaking about the future during these "crunch times" is influencing your victory. As your mind begins to design your Promised future, send your Caleb to check it out:
Let us go up at once and possess it; for we are well able to overcome. Your faith speaks the same language as Caleb:Everything we need for victory and dominion we have right now when God is with us!
Blessings & Smiles on your weekend- hope to see you Saturday!
Now I declare new things....Isa. 42v.9;Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change. Ps. 46v.2
I spent most of the day today at a place of business where the peace was so strong, no fish sign was needed to prove the true Christianity inside! It felt luxurious and certainly was most unexpected in a type of business where strife and unrest are more commonly found.
But as I commented on this peace, the owner began to talk of a desire to retire or remodel - "Oh no, I thought, more change!" Yes, it is everywhere. Is it just me or have you noticed, too, that this new year (hey, it is still a little new!) of Order is bringing about retirements and moves and shifts in a unprecedented manner?
Father: I am not afraid to change! The best is yet to come!
...mercy for our failures and grace to help in good time...(appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it). Heb. 4v.16 (AMP)
"Help is on the way! Just when we need it!" Many years ago in Italy, when I definitely was not living for God, I had a vision as I looked out a courtyard window in a house in Milan. I seemed to see a tiny woman, about the size of a Barbie and she was gesturing and talking to me but I couldn't hear what she was saying. She looked like she needed help. Back in Houston over a decade later I walked in the room of a new kidney patient from Italy and there she was - full-sized- my Macedonian-cry lady!
Some help is being prepared for you. Appropriate and well-timed. Maybe your help is overseas, backslidden, in the military, in prison, distracted, or just out of the will of God. But it is coming and it will be just right and on-time. Today a package of much needed life and death info will arrive at the home of a friend. I struggled for two days to get that prepared and in the mail, knowing God was saying, "urgently needed."
Father: I lift up the HELP that is coming for a need anyone reading this may have today. Let the WAY be made smooth and swift and sure for that help to get to them today. Father, make us he HELP for someone else in need. Strengthen us to get it to them on-time and on the Spirit's mark and in Great Love.
Bless the Lord... Ps. 103v.1;And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said...Acts 13v.2;
"Bless the Lord" came out of my spirit this morning before I had finished waking up my mind to all the things I need to figure out, change, call about, straighten out, tend to, pray over & speak over! Are you and I ministering to the Lord? I remember reading about a woman with a strong, anointed well-known ministry who said when she worked full-time she would go out during her lunch-hour and run, meet God in a field. Last week as I stood in my garage listening to my landscaper tell me how what he was doing would keep my yard from looking like a field, I ached for God as I remembered that woman's passion. I hope you are feeling that stirring, too. Don't feel guilty. Just Bless the Lord!
Father: I want to run and meet You in a field today! Draw me after You and we will run together! Song of Solomon 1v.4
And this is the confidence which we have before Him,that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5v.14 (NAS)
The devil is trying to steal victory by bringing things back you thought you had overcome. He is putting strain and pressure on weak areas that you thought were solid. I am seeing it and hearing it from your calls for prayer as well. Get your breath. Get your faith. And start yelling again. You are not too tired to fight the same fight again. What I am hearing from the Lord is that the battle won't be the same- this battle is His with accelerated victory and an assured outcome even better than before. The devil will be so sorry he messed with us and didn't leave well enough alone. Stupid devil! The enemy has overplayed his hand and Jesus wins again!
This IS the confidence. Our confidence in Jesus always is fresh, prevailing. His Blood yearnsto give us new world-overcoming victories. What is born of God overcomes the world- even your faith! 1 John 5v.4
Blessings on your week of strength renewed- laugh at the devil!
Join me this Saturday March 10! I want to teach you on the Power of Your Prophetic POTENTIAL. Power To The People! HBU's Mabee Theater, 7502 Fondren, 77074 from 10am to 12 noon. the hope of your potential is a good cure for the threat of weariness in well-doing. ARISE! See you there, Beloved in Christ!
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Cor 2v.11
The word "devices' used here is defined as "thoughts, purposes and designs." Here is my prayer for you today. That you won't be ignorant of the devil's thoughts, purposes and designs. But moreover I am praying you will know God's thoughts, purposes and designs. You will know them, agree with them and be open to hear the ways and timing of putting His divine purposes into action.
Father: We take advantage of the devil because of the Cross of Jesus. Thank you for a weekend of fresh and divine thoughts, purposes and designs coming to our minds and spirits. New concepts and strategies for success are ours!
In the year of this jubilee you shall return every man unto his possession... Lev. 25v.10
Yesterday I prayed with several serious needs for healing and I felt an anointing to fight for you. As I am sure you may have felt for me at times. Neh.4v.14 urges us to not be afraid, remember the Lord who is great and awesome and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses. That power we feel as we battle for our Body of Christ family will restore health - " James 5v.15 says " the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick..." Praise God for the Healing Power of His Word in the your hand, a workman not ashamed. No matter the length of your prayer or the softness of your voice - know that your Jubilee prayer is RESTORING putting back what the devil has stolen and driving that illegal intruder off holy, healed land. If you sow restoration, you will reap it! Jubilee!
LEE'S WORD FOR TODAY 1/6/17
SEPARATE FROM PAST BAGGAGE, DIVORCE OLD SIN, MARRY NEW FUTURE IN CHRIST!
Lee's Word for Today 1/6/17
from past baggage
NEW FUTURE IN CHRIST!
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17
FATHER: Show me Your new way today! I PRESS TOWARD THE PRIZE!
Love you guys more than you know,
Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn(NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden)and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city(NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10 Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
