And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel, only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. Isa. 4v.1
This issue facing our single ladies in the Body of Christ moves us to tears of compassion, as Nehemiah was moved to weep, mourn and take action about the plight of his brethren. Jesus Our Banner speaks through Romans 15 v. 3 as to what we should do in response to our sisters, our daughters, our friends:
Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. You may be stronger than me in another area, bear me up there with your faith- don't beat me down. Tomorrow morning we'll be praying at Mabee Theater on the HBU campus for the restoration of faith to marry God's Holy and Supernatural Way.
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. To "edify" means to build, and we are building the future for our society through these soon-to-emerge marriages and families! When righteousness prevails, we all benefit. Like the wall Nehemiah labored to re-build around the city of Jerusalem, marriage is a God-designed wall to protect the way to our best life now.
For even Christ did not please Himself, but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached thee fell upon Me. Aren't you glad Jesus took the shame and reproach of being unmarried! Saturday we will enforce that deliverance done at the Cross. We will use our authority as believers to marshal forces and move mountains for His will to be done in your life.
My dear friend Elsa is coming to lead singles into the EASE of sealing the deal of the Promise. My Lovely friend Clara will be there to clear the airways for take-off. Our Beth will certify that He has chosen you and Claudia carries the House Wine around so no one is left out of wedding party! We are there tomorrow to serve you and your destiny!
