Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying Grace, grace unto it. Zech. 4v.7 KJV
Therefore no mountain, however high, can stand before Zerubbabel! For it will flatten out before him! And Zerubbabel will finish building this Temple with mighty shouts of thanksgiving for God's mercy, declaring that all was done by grace alone. Zech. 4v.7 TLB
Praying for your every Christmas mountain to come down as you cry G-R-A-C-E to it today. I am shouting it out with you now GRACE! Whatever mountain you are facing - a mountain of clothes to wash because company is coming; a mountain of cookie dough to conquer or it could be sickness in your body, depression or other trouble. Grace will flatten it and you will run, leap over and plant the flag of lavish GRACE on the top of it.
The enemy tries his best to sandblast Christmas. He seeks to strategically plan death, divorces and doom around this season to make his mess even more unforgettable. The pain of the loss then is forever attached to the holiday, becoming a recurring curse or black mark. But the devil's best was not enough to stop Jesus from coming into this world and saving us. Nothing can stop us from celebrating by faith - Jesus- this Gift given to mankind and to you, you, you!
This morning between 3:30 am and 5:00 am, my sweet 97 yr.old Aunt - Vera Mae Thornton-mighty church worker, A.M.E. missionary leader soared to Jesus and her heavenly reward. Her Christmas will be heavenly. She made me jump of boxes for Easter programs, made me be in the Vacation Bible School singing group, made me do the welcome on Youth Sunday. She helped to me make what I am- full of GRACE!
Love you so much- Merry Christmas!
